ハーバード大学からの訪問
7月1日に、ハーバード大学のノア・プラットナー氏がABSを訪問され、細田高道研究科長と会談し意見交換をいたしました。会談では廣瀬雄大准教授も同席いたしました。
ノア・プラットナー氏は、ハーバード大学ハーバード・カレッジに在籍し、歴史および経済を専攻されています。2025年6月より、European Business Council in Japan（欧州ビジネス協会）にてインターンシップを行なっており、日本の様々な産業におけるビジネス環境や関連する規制動向について調査に従事されています。
会談では、日本の化学産業の将来展望をテーマに意見交換を行い、規制動向の観点からEU諸国および日本の企業にとっての機会と課題についてディスカッションしました。今後のノア・プラットナー氏のインターンシップならびに学業におけるさらなるご活躍を心よりお祈り申し上げます。今回のご縁をお繋ぎいただいたEU-Japan Industrial Cooperation Centreに深く感謝申し上げます。
Visit from Harvard University
On July 1, Mr Noah Plattner of Harvard University visited ABS and met with Dean Takamichi Hosoda and exchanged opinions. Professor Yuta Hirose also joined the meeting.
Mr Noah Plattner is currently enrolled at Havard College, Harvard University, where he is majoring in History and Economics. Since June 2025, he has been undertaking an internship at the European Business Council in Japan (EBC), where he is engaged in research on the business environment and regulatory developments across various industries in Japan.
Today, we held a discussion on the future outlook of Japan’s chemical industry, exchanging views on the opportunities and challenges this industry poses for government and businesses in EU member states, particularly from the perspective of regulatory trends. We sincerely wish Mr Plattner continued success in both his internship and academic endeavours. We would also like to express our deep appreciation to the EU-Japan Industrial Cooperation Centre for facilitating this valuable connection.
